OurFAMILY KITCHEN
Cook once, eat twice
A little cookbook of the meals my family keeps asking for, gathered over years of busy weeknights and finally written down.
Made with love
Real cooking. Real family.
Real time around the table.
Every recipe in this book has been cooked, tasted and occasionally complained about at our own kitchen table. That’s the whole point.
The cooking
These are the meals we actually cook and eat, tested on the toughest critics I know: my family. Every recipe has a conventional method and a Thermomix TM6 method, because half the people I love don’t own one.
If it’s in the book, it’s been on our table.
The time together
For me it’s never just about the food. It’s catching up, sharing stories and having a laugh: the kids peeling potatoes, someone setting the table, and phones put away while we eat.
The busy evenings are entirely real, too.
Psst… you guessed it. I’m a hair stylist, not a food photographer, so I did what any busy mom with a curious streak would do: the photos are AI. At one point the beans came out the size of golf balls. My camera skills are still simmering.

The big idea
Cook once, eat twice
Life gets busy. Between work, school, activities and everything else, getting a meal on the table can feel like an achievement in itself. That’s why I love cooking ahead.
Most of these recipes make enough for tonight and another night later. Freeze half, stick on a label, and you’ll thank yourself on a hectic Wednesday. The master recipes (chicken, mince, sauces, rice and beans) turn into a dozen different dinners.
May there always be room for one more at our table. From the first pages of the book

A peek between the pages
High-protein, wholesome, freezer-friendly family food, from Saturday waffles to a proper South African bobotie.

The recipes live in the book. The pictures we’re happy to share.

Hair stylist at heart.
Family cook by popular demand.
I’m Michelle, founder of Veaudry International and mom to a family that always wants to know what’s for dinner. Whether I’m building a business or standing behind the salon chair, my favourite place is still around the kitchen table.
This book grew from years of feeding the people I love, and a fascination with what AI could help me create.
